[She would never have stopped, and if it would have gone on for much longer, she would have found out where he lives. It's been a couple days since she got his name, and it took this long to search the guide and find his contact number. Well, actually that only took her about two minutes, but she kind of got distracted by other things and it took her this long to call.

She pauses a moment, gauging his tone before she speaks.]

[Because someone else might have picked up the call, and while she had heard 'Zuko here, but...' a bunch of times, she really wasn't paying attention to how his voice sounded.]

I'm just worried that she might be feeling self-conscious is all. And the best cure for that is hearing how cute you are from someone that you care about.

That doesn't change the fact it's still none of your business. Let me set you straight anyway: I do tell her, but she's more than just a cute person. She's smart and thoughtful and she's a warm person. If you're her friend, then you already know that.

So unless you have something new to say, this conversation is over.
